The offerings that cannot be stored, only sourced fresh - flowers and garlands, sacred leaves, fruit, and the living forms of milk and curd. Prakriti is the part of the practice that meets the altar unpreserved, exactly as the earth gives it. It is what a puja needs on the morning it is performed, not the week before.
Sourced fresh and local for the day of worship, never held in a warehouse. Milk that is A2 and raw from indigenous cattle, not pasteurised into its processed shadow. Leaves and flowers whole and unwilted. If the shastra names a living form, we do not offer a preserved substitute for it.
Wilted flowers dressed up as fresh. Pasteurised or reconstituted milk where the ritual asks for the raw living form. Cold-stored fruit sold as same-day. Anything preserved standing in for what should be living.
Households preparing daily or festive puja, pandits conducting abhishek and panchamrit rituals, temples preparing daily bhog and flower offerings.
