The specialty module. Ayurvedic botanicals and ritual items for graha-shanti, and the seasonal expansions of festival practice.
The specialty drawer of the practice - the samagri that particular rituals and particular seasons call for. On one side, the Ayurvedic and graha-shanti botanicals and ritual items classical texts prescribe for planetary and ancestral shanti. On the other, the festival calendar - Diwali, Navratri, Ganesh Chaturthi - and the seasonal offerings that expand daily worship into celebration.
Whole-form botanicals from the Eastern Himalayan belt, identifiable by eye - nothing pre-powdered on our behalf by a supplier we cannot name. Festival colour that is mineral-based, not chemically dyed. And a single rule for celebration: nothing that would not belong on the altar on an ordinary day.
Ground powders of unknown origin. "Ayurvedic" filler cut with talc or starch. Synthetic rangoli dyes. Anything that stretches weight and thins ritual meaning.
Pandits conducting graha-shanti havans and festival pujas, households performing navagraha puja or celebrating festivals with intention, temples preparing for seasonal celebrations.
