Privacy Policy

Gomini Innovation Private Limited (“Gomini”) is a partner-led puja-samagri operations platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information responsibly. This policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, who we may share it with, and what choices you have.

1. Information we may collect

We may collect personal information when you interact with Gomini through any of the following channels:

  • Website forms - When you submit the city waitlist, partner inquiry, or contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, city, state, business or practice name, phone number (if provided), and any message you include.
  • Partner onboarding - When a pandit, retailer or other partner engages with Gomini for partnership, we may collect business details, identity information and communication preferences needed to establish and manage the partnership.
  • Client and service interactions - When you place an order, request a service, or interact with Gomini for puja-samagri coordination through a partner, we may collect the information necessary to fulfil that request.
  • WhatsApp interactions - Where you or a partner choose to communicate with Gomini through WhatsApp, messages and associated communication data (such as your WhatsApp name, phone number, message content, and timestamps) may be received and processed by Gomini.
  • Automatic website data - When you visit our website, we may collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages visited and referring URL through analytics tools.

2. How we use your information

We use information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Responding to your inquiries, waitlist registrations and contact requests.
  • Processing and managing partner onboarding.
  • Fulfilling service delivery, including samagri coordination, order processing and booking management.
  • Customer and partner support.
  • Operational coordination - communicating with partners, vendors and service providers as needed to deliver the service.
  • Improving our website, services and user experience.
  • Meeting legal and regulatory record-keeping obligations.

3. WhatsApp communications

Gomini uses WhatsApp for approved customer and partner communications. Where you or a partner interact with Gomini through WhatsApp, messages and associated communication data may be processed to:

  • Provide the services you have requested.
  • Respond to your messages and enquiries.
  • Coordinate orders, bookings and operational logistics.
  • Operate and improve the service.

WhatsApp messages are processed in accordance with this privacy policy and with WhatsApp's own terms and policies. Gomini does not access the personal messages of any partner or user outside of conversations directed to or initiated with Gomini.

4. Our role as a WhatsApp Business Tech Provider

Gomini is a Meta-approved WhatsApp Business Tech Provider. This means Gomini provides the technology infrastructure that enables our partners - pandits and other service providers - to connect their own WhatsApp Business Accounts (WABAs) to the WhatsApp Business API.

When a partner connects their WABA through Gomini's platform, Gomini acts as an intermediary: we facilitate the technical onboarding, manage API access, and may process certain business account data on their behalf, such as WABA ID, phone number ID, access tokens, and webhook events.

End-user messages that flow through a partner's WABA are processed in accordance with Meta's WhatsApp Business Terms of Service (business.whatsapp.com/policy) and Meta's Privacy Policy (facebook.com/privacy/policy). Gomini does not read, store, or analyse the content of end-user conversations that occur within a partner's WABA beyond what is technically necessary to operate the integration.

Partners who connect their WABA through Gomini remain the data controller for their end-users' data. Gomini acts as a data processor in that context.

5. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers and partners - third-party providers or partners who assist in delivering the service (for example, logistics, communication platforms, or hosting providers), to the extent necessary for them to perform that function.
  • Legal and regulatory obligations - where required by applicable law, regulation, court order, or governmental request.
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. - as required to operate the WhatsApp Business API integration. Message delivery, WABA registration and webhook events are processed via Meta's Cloud API infrastructure. This involves transfer of certain data to Meta's servers, which may be located outside India. Such transfers are necessary for performance of the service and are governed by Meta's Data Processing Terms.
  • Sub-processors - Gomini may engage sub-processors to operate parts of its technical infrastructure, including cloud hosting and AI services. A current list of sub-processors is available on request at [email protected].

6. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the personal information we hold from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by applicable law. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.

8. Your rights and choices

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please write to us at [email protected], or use the contact form on our website, selecting “Privacy or data deletion request” as the subject.

Certain records may need to be retained where required by law, even after a deletion request.

9. Data deletion

For detailed instructions on requesting deletion of your personal information, including information associated with WhatsApp communications, please see our Data Deletion Instructions page.

If you are a partner whose WABA is connected through Gomini's platform, you may also request deletion of your WABA integration data, including stored access tokens and webhook configuration, by writing to [email protected]. Gomini will action such requests within 30 days, subject to any legal retention obligations.

Note: Deletion of WABA integration data will disconnect your WhatsApp Business Account from Gomini's platform.

10. Cookies and analytics

This website may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

11. Children

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
